Complete scam... Well versed strategic marketing ploys used to fool potential employees. Responded to an add under "Admin Jobs" in Craigslist, titled "ASSEMBLERS". They don't tell you until your hired and after they pump you up with fantasy's of money, traveling, and how far you can get with the company, what you really will be doing is selling $2,650 vacuum cleaners door to door. They tell you will be making $400 base pay per week as long as you make 15 appointments (telemarketing your friends & family). It turns out at the end of your 7 day "non pay training period" when you graduate to be able to sell, with about 10 min left before you go home they rush the 9 page legal documents and paperwork and have you sign everything to get you set to make your first appointment (presentation) that night. Well one of those pages being signed (in fancy legal wording) is you waving the $400 base pay to make you an independent contractor so you only get paid by commission if you sell one of the overly priced vacuum cleaners in this recession to ordinary people. Basically they buy Kirby's vacuum cleaners in bulk at a reduced price and then get you to find a buyer so they sell the vacuum to YOU and you in turn sell it to the person that is buying it from you. Very sleazy tactics used they need to be honest and tell you in plain terms what you will be doing and how it works. Hope this helps all of you, don't waste your time on this like I did.
