I am a transplant from the East Coast, and it is hard to meet new people in LA. I discovered Speed Dating LA and have had nothing but positive experiences. It is British style speed dating, where you rotate table to table every 5 minutes. i was pleasantly surprised with the females, almost all beautiful young professionals.
Some people are embarassed to sign up for speed dating, but this is a far better alternative to trying to approach a girl in a loud club. On top of that, the ladies who host the events are super nice and make you feel comfortable.
Worth the price!
