Horrible - Western has destroyed our local, family-owned company here in CA North Bay

If there was a zero star rating - this would be the Company earning it.
Absolutely horrible and painful customer service and lack of knowledge.
We have been working with Hitmen Pest Control and receive pest control services every two months with them for 4+ years.
Believe Western acquired Hitmen 12 to 18 months ago - and it has been all downhill since then. We still love our local technicians, but Western Exterminators and the switchboard operators are the absolute worst!
We are going through a VA refinance to keep our current home. Our mortgage broker advised that we would need to pay off and submit a termite inspection report to close the re-finance.
Thought we would give the business to Hitmen (aka. Western Exterminators). Called in and confirmed appointment and ticket number with them on June 1st for their first available appointment on June 14.
Provided all information and contact details for our mortgage broker and report submission on June 1st being very clear it was VA loan and re-finance program.
Called and confirmed appointment with Western Exterminators again on June 9 to make sure we understood what the inspection would entail and the time window when we could expect the technician to be here. Operator/Customer Service could see everything clearly laid out and completed in the Western/Hitmen computer system. He advised us that the technician would need access to both interior and exterior of our house and potentially the crawlspace as well.
Two days later - on Friday, June 11 my husband receives a voicemail that Western Exterminators was cancelling the appointment and was not able to assist us.
Absolutely insane! And now we are stuck as we will not be able to complete our refinance on the original timeline.
Be warned - and it doesn't matter how many questions you ask, they will lie.
And as we have been calling to set up a new appointment with an actual inspection company that cares about true customer service, it is evident that Western Exterminators is also price gouging customers.
50% to 75% higher price tag than the price estimates I am getting for inspections and report submissions today!
We will never work with this company ever again!
