I wish that I had researched this company before accepting appraisal work from them. I am now officially on the list of trying to be paid for work that I did for them, that they have already been paid for. It appears, based on this site as well as many others, that this is pretty much the way they do business. Cant we, as a large group, take this matter to the AG in CA? They may be very interested in how this company is currently doing business. Or possibly making a list of the Lenders that they deal with and informing them of overdue invoices. Just a thought.
To update, according to the owner, payment will now be going out in the mail. I hope so, but will wait until the end of the week. I can say with absolute certainty that I would never do another appraisal for them.
